Fishing regulations



Only vehicles belonging to the fisherman's lodge or stationed at the BIWY are allowed to circulate on the fishing causeway during the day from 8am to 8pm (avoid unnecessary travel, otherwise park at the entrance to the estate).

It is strictly forbidden to fish from one spot to another or from the breakwater.

Fishing is strictly practiced on a catch-and-release basis .

Fishing with lures and live bait is STRICTLY prohibited.

Predatory fish fishing prohibited .

Radio-controlled boats are permitted, as well as bait-rocket priming and the use of a personal electric motorboat is allowed.

Wearing a personal life jacket is mandatory when in a boat or on the water.

The use of the Domaine's boat is strictly for professional purposes, therefore its use is prohibited to tenants and visitors.

Maximum 3 rods per fisherman.

Only one hook per line. Barbless hooks are mandatory, maximum size no. 2.

A minimum 30cm anti-tangle silicone sleeve must be installed.

Braided leaders and mainlines are strictly prohibited, as are monofilament lines thinner than 30/100 or thicker than 40/100. Lead cores are also prohibited. Only rigs that allow for easy lead release in case of breakage are permitted; a rod will be retrieved during the session for inspection.

Hybrid or fixed type lead clips are prohibited.

Live bait is prohibited.
Seeds are prohibited.

All handling of fish between the lake and the weighing platform must be done using the weigh sling, not by hand. Fish weighing over 20 kg must be handled in the water for filming.

You are required to use the equipment provided upon arrival to avoid any illness (weighing bag, landing mat and landing net).

Only boilies and pelletsproducts sold in our store and natural products without additives or preservatives are allowed.
The catches must be handled with care, kept constantly moist and returned to the water quickly in the best possible conditions.

Only one person in the photo per fish (the fisherman only).

All fish must be released immediately , after a quick photo session on your knees, during which both the fish and the mat will be moistened. Keepnets (even floating ones) are STRICTLY prohibited and will result in exclusion.

Obligation to possess and use a special fish disinfectant , to be applied to the hook sting and any possible wound.

It is strictly forbidden to mark or mutilate the fish.

A fisherman must always remain in the immediate vicinity of the rods when they are set up.

Swimming is strictly prohibited

Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Pets must be kept on a leash outside the fence and remain under the constant supervision of their owners within the property. Please clean up after them.

No refunds, postponements or credits will be issued in the event of early departure.

Management reserves the right to immediately exclude anyone from the site, without refund, in the event of obvious drunkenness of a fisherman or consumption of narcotics.

It is strictly forbidden to relieve oneself around the grounds.

To protect the environment: do not damage the vegetation. Do not light fires on the ground (camping gas stoves and above-ground BBQs are permitted). Avoid making noise. Dispose of your rubbish in the designated bins. Do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground; the site must be left clean and free of rubbish bags upon your departure, or your deposit will be retained.

Selective sorting: Sorting is an easy daily action to preserve natural resources and prevent pollution.We provide several containers (glass, plastic and household waste) to make your life easier.
Our cottages are equipped with individual septic tanks; to ensure their proper functioning, it is strictly forbidden to flush the following products down the toilet:

• Bleach
• Solvents
• Antibiotics
• Tampons and sanitary napkins

A deposit of €300 per cottage and a deposit of €200 for fishing equipment (not cashed) will be required upon arrival and returned upon departure.
