15 km from our Puyregonde site, Beynac Lake is located in the beautiful Dordogne at Saint Saud Lacoussière (24).
It's a lake of approximately 6 hectares within a complex of over 50 hectares! With its unique shape and fishing spots, it offers the opportunity to test and improve your fishing techniques. The lake gives you complete freedom to experiment. You're surrounded by woods, feeling at one with nature. Depths vary between 1 and 4.5 meters, providing numerous challenges for catching beautiful, large fish. You'll find several overhanging trees, reed beds, and other excellent fishing spots. There may be some weeds here and there, but this doesn't hinder fishing or catching fish at all. The bottom consists largely of gravel and a few soft muddy patches, an ideal habitat to enjoy peace and nature that is only interrupted by difficult races and screaming beeps.
The lake's record currently stands at no less than 36.2 kg. At present, there are approximately 350 carp (15 carp over 30 kg, 50 carp over 25 kg, 100 carp over 20 kg, and approximately 200 carp between 10 and 20 kg).
