Fishing Regulations for South Lake and North Lake
Only vehicles belonging to the fisherman's lodge or staying in a BIWI are allowed to circulate on the fishing causeway during the day from 8am to 8pm (avoid unnecessary travel, otherwise park at the entrance to the estate).
Only pre-packaged pellets, baby corn, oil, and hempseed sold by the estate are permitted. Bringing your own pellets is strictly prohibited and will be refused.
We prefer boilies sold by the estate, but we accept boilies from well-known brands that are labeled and sealed and still valid will be allowed with our agreement before your stay.
Seeds are prohibited.
It is mandatory to use the receiving equipment provided at each station (landing net, sling and unhooking mat).
It is strictly forbidden to fish from one spot to another or from the breakwater.
Fishing is strictly practiced on a catch-and-release basis .
Fishing with lures and live bait is STRICTLY prohibited, as is fishing for predatory fish.
Radio-controlled boats are allowed.
The use of the boat is reserved for the fisherman.
Wearing a personal life jacket is mandatory when in a boat or on the water.
3 rods per fisherman.
Only one hook per line. Barbless hooks are mandatory, maximum size #4.
Micro barbs or crushed barbs are strictly prohibited.
Braided leaders and mainlines are strictly prohibited , as are monofilament lines thinner than 35/100 or thicker than 40/100 . Lead cores are also prohibited. Only rigs that allow for easy lead release in case of breakage are permitted; a rod will be retrieved during the session for inspection.
A minimum 30cm anti-tangle silicone sleeve is required.
Only Heli Safe plastic leaders are allowed , all other leaders are prohibited.
Hybrid or fixed type lead clips are strictly prohibited.
Live bait is strictly prohibited (maggots, earthworms, etc.).
Any handling of fish between the lake and the conveyor belt must be done with the weighing bag and not in the arms.
Fish weighing over 20 kg must only be handled in water, and the same applies to photos.
It is imperative that each fisherman has a disinfectant spray.
The catch must be handled with care, and it is essential to remove the hook from the water as soon as it is placed in the net. The fish must be kept constantly moist and quickly released back into the water in the best possible condition. Only one person per fish should be photographed (the angler only).
All fish must be released immediately , after a quick photo session on your knees, during which both the fish and the mat will be moistened. Keepnets (even floating ones) are STRICTLY prohibited and will result in exclusion.
Obligation to possess and use a special fish disinfectant , to be applied to the hook sting and any possible wound.
It is strictly forbidden to mark or mutilate the fish.
A fisherman must always remain in the immediate vicinity of the rods when they are set up.
Swimming is strictly prohibited
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
The unit must be clean and free of rubbish bags upon your departure or your deposit will be retained.
Pets must be kept on a leash outside the fence and remain under the constant supervision of their owners within the property. Please clean up after them.
No refunds, postponements or credits will be issued in the event of early departure.
Management reserves the right to immediately exclude anyone from the site, without refund, in the event of obvious drunkenness of a fisherman or consumption of narcotics.
It is strictly forbidden to relieve oneself around the grounds.
To protect the environment: do not damage the vegetation. Do not light fires on the ground (camping gas stoves and above-ground BBQs are permitted). Avoid making noise. Dispose of your rubbish in the designated bins. Do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground; the site must be left clean and free of rubbish bags upon your departure, or your deposit will be retained.
Recycling: Sorting is an easy daily action to preserve natural resources and combat pollution. We provide several containers (glass, plastic, and household waste) to make your life easier.
On the property, the cottages are equipped with individual septic tanks and the BIWI stations with dry toilets. To ensure their proper functioning, it is strictly forbidden to throw the following products down the toilets:
A deposit of 300 euros for the cottages and a deposit of 200 euros for fishing equipment (not cashed) will be requested upon your arrival and returned upon your departure.
